Recycling rather than throwing away

Starting out
Very high impact
#Circular economy

Metals, minerals, plastics and other components can be salvaged and put to good use to make new objects. This makes it all the more important not to throw our devices away just anywhere, since they contain substances that are hazardous to the environment and to our health.

Therefore, in order to make the most of the resources contained in end-of-life appliances and prevent them from causing pollution, recycle them!

Is your device out of service?

  • Place it in a dedicated collection bin available at retailers or at a waste collection centre.
  • Use a dedicated digital platform. It will then be taken to a processing centre to be dismantled. Its different recyclable components can thus be salvaged.
  • In case of a new purchase, return the old device to your shop. They are obliged to take back the old device at the sales outlet or at the time of delivery. This duty to take devices back is obligatory for small pieces of equipment such as smartphones, with no obligation to make a new purchase, on the condition that the sales outlet has a surface area of at least 400 square metres.

If your device is still in good working order, think about giving it a second life.

– 5%

Less than 5% of phones are collected for recycling. Yet, even when out of service,
our devices are a real treasure!
